It is getting colder here also and I thought of icicles to come and remembered your "Cave Points" design. I will try to alternate drop art and cave points to see how it will look. Looking forward to seeing your new quilted jacket. The partial stitching you showed was beautiful.Roberta Jehnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03262087991478287440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7302142022228564326.post-63380180764856047432010-11-16T14:20:36.783-05:002010-11-16T14:20:36.783-05:00Oh this is another super one for the 'must do&...Oh this is another super one for the 'must do' libraryAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05386852386404591819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7302142022228564326.post-32067222462263486992010-11-16T14:11:11.433-05:002010-11-16T14:11:11.433-05:00Hi Mimi - Why did I start in the middle of the blo...Hi Mimi - Why did I start in the middle of the block? Because I was planning on stitching this differently, more like a feather, but changed my mind at the last minute.

Sorry if it's confusing, but really it's good to see that you can work from right to left or left to right. Direction doesn't matter so much as the rules of the stitch (tear drops stitched from edge to center).

I hope that makes sense!

LeahLeahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03674869334249298532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7302142022228564326.post-69810162502704273592010-11-16T13:40:23.641-05:002010-11-16T13:40:23.641-05:00Ok, I missed why you started in the middle of the ...Ok, I missed why you started in the middle of the side and they went back and did the other part of the same side? Why not go around the corner and save the traveling?

For some reason I can see ME doing this one - as much as I love all the designs I don't put myself as the doer of them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7302142022228564326.post-54866662257926937772010-11-16T13:02:52.534-05:002010-11-16T13:02:52.534-05:00Think I can do that one. My next quilt is going to be an Autumn theme and I was wondering if had any ideas for a fill in design? Maple leaves or something of that nature? Keep up the great work. I enjoy your videos each day.?https://www.blogger.com/profile/16438804576505310243noreply@blogger.com
