I remember my grandmother used an old bedspring set on edge to help reinforce the chicken yard fencing. She was determined to keep the foxes out, you see.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7302142022228564326.post-71300868328494465202011-06-09T20:52:44.535-04:002011-06-09T20:52:44.535-04:00Amazing coop. I like boxes. :)Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05374651954382654005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7302142022228564326.post-66067161921138581732011-06-09T15:15:15.123-04:002011-06-09T15:15:15.123-04:00Love the chicken post! This was when I would occasionally leave the coop open at night, so it was essentially an invitation for a predator.

Foxes are difficult to catch. They're smart and avoid traps pretty well.

One thing that's worked for me is using a human scent deterrent. Old clothes around the coop keep the foxes away, except for the ones who are used to living around humans.Josh Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12558573851875174188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7302142022228564326.post-23326531451466441892011-06-09T13:22:48.227-04:002011-06-09T13:22:48.227-04:00What a great post Josh!
